Warm months
Summer on Lake Granby
- Shoreline access (lodge kayaks/canoes/paddleboards/paddleboat currently unavailable — drought / low reservoir)
- Fishing — Grand County holds a large share of Colorado’s Gold Medal waters
- Day trips into Rocky Mountain National Park (~6 miles)
- Scenic drives, ATV / motorsports on nearby trails
- Evenings at the fire pits and lawn games
Cold months
Winter at the lodge
- Ice fishing on Lake Granby when conditions allow
- Snowmobile and ATV access onto the lake from the property
- Downhill skiing and snowboarding at nearby areas (rentals & lessons available)
- Hot springs about 20 miles away
- Confirm road and lake access with us before you travel
Practical notes
Lodge watercraft is normally seasonal and weather-dependent — currently unavailable until further notice because Lake Granby is low this drought year and water is not to the property line. Winter lake access depends on ice and road conditions — we do not overclaim. Call 970-627-8448 if you’re unsure whether your dates work for ice fishing or snowmobile put-in.
